This is a website for providing people with information to help them create their own website. A wide range of topics are discussed from picking a topic, finding web hosting, designing your web pages, and creating conent, to helping you monetize your website.
Most of the topics discussed here are about web page creation, but I do provide some useful methods you can deploy on your website to earn a little extra money. If you are looking to get rich quick than you might as well go buy a lottery ticket because this site is not for you.
What you will find on this site are helpful ideas and suggestions to get you building web pages as well as links to other valuable resources. After reading through all of the content on this site you should feel confident in getting your own website onto the world wide web.
No Experience Needed
You don't need to be an experienced web developer to create your own website. There are so many tools available to help you design and create your website. In fact, thousands of people are using free website builders, content management systems, and templates to buid their website.
Plan Plan and Plan
Before you even start coding that first web page you should have a well thought out plan. Your plan should include how you will structure your website such as what directories to create, what keywords you want to use for each page, what web hosting option fits your need, how you plan on managing your content, and much more.
It's not critical to plan your entire website before getting started. Some people with no experience may find it easier to learn by jumping right in. However, the more you can plan, the more time and energy you will save. Trying to accomplish everything at once will only cause headaches and frustration, especially for beginners. How do you cash in on all of this? In it's simplest form, you cash in with advertising. You create a website on a topic such as running. People browse the internet for topics on running and they come across your website. Companies will then pay YOU for having their link displayed on your website.
Sounds pretty easy huh? It really is that easy when you get people visiting your site.

Why not? It's a great way to earn extra spending cash. The best part is the cost of getting started is low compared to the return you can achieve. Your only costs will be registering a domain name which usually runs about $7-10 per year and web hosting which can cost about $7 per month. Other than that, it's a matter of putting in your time.

The possibility to make good money and some day quit your day job to live off your website does exist. Nobody is going to give you instant success without putting forth any effort. It takes a person with the right idea, time and dedication to succeed. Look at successful companies such as Microsoft and Google. They didn't become multibillion dollar companies overnight. Malcolm Gladwell in his book, Outliers: The Story of Success, talks about his 10,000 Hour Rule and how it takes a person 10,000 hours or about 10 years of practice to master something. I highly recommend reading this book which can be purchased at Amazon.com.

Don't have 10,000 hours to master something new? Guess what? Chances are you already spent a great deal of time doing something you enjoy! What's your hobby? Let's say you are a fitness buff and love to run. Why not create a website educating people about fitness and running?!
